Hi
Any suggestions for comfortable sneakers, I love the look of Converse Chuck Taylor but find them uncomfortable for my broad feet. Is there an equivalent with cushioning that works in with a casual look? I admire the girls who can wear heals but I'm a bit too heavy for them, so flats it is.

I'd suggest Vans Old Skool. They're a flat and wider shoe than the narrower converse. I always add my own innersoles for extra cushioning. That may be an option for you. https://www.hypedc.com/old-skool-black-true-white.html

As an Australian too Tasha I really find spendless shoes useful. They have a good variety of shoes for different foot shapes and a bunch of styles.

You can wear flats that give additional height like heels. I saw that Superga have 1.5 inch platform shoes.

My partner has a few pairs of oboz shoes. They're really tough and give an unassuming inch in height. They have a tough look too.

I eventually found that skechers slip ons fit my foot shape perfectly. They comfortable and so soft however not dressy enough. The ones you posted might be the solution! Will check their returns policy just in case.

Excellent, these ones would make great runners for me.
