Hi everyone

I have dark circles under my eyes, from a combination of not sleeping well and genetics. My concealer always looks like it's dry and cracked after application.

I apply a yellow concealer to offset the purple undertone and use a concealer over it.

I've tried thinning out the concealer with different types of moisturisers and still have the same issue. Also tried apply moisturiser before the yellow concealer.

Is there any way to fix this?

Many thanks,

Hey Waxface

How often do you exfoliate? Is your skin dry or is there a skin condition?

Hi Vivi
Not as often as I should...probably every three weeks to a month. My skin is on the dry side.

Exfoliating once per week will help a lot. Sounds like you need hydration. Some things you can try is applying grapeseed oil, coconut oil or a heavier eye cream before bed. You can also try smashbox under eye primer, for me it's gentle and moisturing and I don't get the cakey look.
