Yesterday, I just accidentally spilt red wine of my carpet.

It's old carpet anyway, but I still want to get rid of it.

Would anyone know what to do?

If you've got old carpet, I would probably instead recommend you getting rid of it and get new carpet. You'll feel a lot fresher.

What type of carpet do you have? What colour is it?

Do not rub the stain in! Keep blotting the carpet until you've absorbed the excess. I wet the stain with warm dish washing liquid, white vinegar and water mixed together.

I hope it's your carpet and not your parents
