Greetings!

I remember all those childhood days when my grandfather was taking more to golf courses, and I was enjoying it a lot. However, at the age of 13, my father transferred to other cities, and I never attended golf courses again in life. After teenage, life became too busy, and even my grandfather became old and stop visiting golf courses.

Withal, his birthday is coming, and I am planning to gift him something related to golf. In this regard, I decided to gift him an album with all of his golf playing pictures, but according to my husband, I should gift him golf stuff like golf clubs, balls and golf carts.

In this regard, I shortlisted the golf club and golf balls. His golf clubs are in good condition, and I can only offer to regrip them. However, if we talk about golf balls, then I found golf balls for seniors here. Even grandfather can enjoy more spin and coverage by hitting these golf balls. I am thinking to go with Wilson or MG Golf in this regard. What are your recommends in terms of golf balls for seniors?

On the other hand, I can also gift him tickets of PGA Championship which is going to be held in May. Do you think it would be a good idea as compared gifting him golf ball? Because I am not sure either he would play with a golf ball or not but definitely, he would love to watch PGA championship.

What are your ideas? You can also share your opinions and can suggest anything outside of my thoughts. Waiting for your responses.

If his hip is in good order go for the clubs. Nothing like new shiny clubs. New balls and cart would be great. He will be the envy of the course. Splurge on him.

Hi shantelnordlund,
My rule of thumb is to never buy a gift worse than their current! I'm not saying that you are, it's only a pointer, preventing an embarrassing disappointment.

With rackets and clubs, people can be terribly fussy about their equipment. I think a nice golf bag not so much!

These stand and carry bags look nice.
