hi everyone!
my insomnia is awful and when i do sleep the quality is awful. i always wake up at 2-3am then again at 5 so i can't savor the extra hour before i have to wake up. it's so frustrating to walk around the following day like a zombie! i then feel better towards night time ...... help!

See a doctor for starters. You could be deficient in something or have other underlying issues.
See if blue light from screens could be the source of your sleep issues. Stop using your screen before bed and turn on the blue light filter if you absolutely must check your phone before bed.
You can buy blue light blocking screen protectors ... like this one but for your device

I sometimes rely on tv to fall asleep. It takes my mind off things. Praise the timer function!

thank y'all for answering me... I should have responded earlier. Sent a bunch of thanks for your lovely answers. xxx
no not at all - I don't live near passing cars and trucks or any other noisy facility I think it's just my sleep is a mess. I did see a doctor who suggested meditation and breathign exercises, I think they're helping to a degree. He thinks it could be more a relaxation thing, so I have to try that first and come back if it doesn;t help... then melatonin is the next step
Bakethiscake, yep i've tried the no phone before bed and I wont lie, it made a smallish difference but not enough to me,. I felt more peaceful than anything else
