Camping with butane cookers - are they safe?

A lot of problems come from 1. Not following the manufacturers instructions 2. Ignoring safety 3. Failing to be observant e.g. A camper fails to notice that the canister is running way too hot and is completely unsafe 4. Buying cheap portable butane cookers with an unsafe build quality 5. Using a v...

Quality windscreen wipers

Nothing worse than bad windscreen wipers. Don't skimp, you get what you pay for. Look for high performance and low noise wipers. I use Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades suppose to be aerodynamic. Not to bad at high speeds. Replacement wiper blades can be purchased from your local O’Brien branch. I think ...

Camping with butane cookers - are they safe?

What's the safest portable cooker for camping? I've been using butane cookers that are cheap, portable and light. Are these safe? My mate told me that his mate's didn't turn off and leaked gas. Yes yes. All it takes is a gas leak or a leak and a spark! :( I found this link https://www.sa.gov.au/top...

SKIN PROBLEMS

I know someone who had this laser done for blood vessels. It worked really well and basically vanished them. You have to check if the yellow laser is the right wavelength to remove black ink. There's no single laser out there that can remove every tattoo colour from skin. A qualified dermatologist s...

Boating, camping and fishing (BCF) sell air beds. They can cost anywhere between $45 to $150.

Looking for new camping lights for the tent. I need ones that can hang up, and a couple new handheld torches too. Is rechargeable better?

CB radio for beginners

Who here are CB radio hobbyists?

I'm seeking out a mid range CB radio for both the home and road trips. I know absolutely nothing about choosing a CB radio other than they have different wattages. Can you have private channels?

What would be a decent CB radio? Suggestions guys?

Need solution for car with no aux port

My car doesn’t have an auxiliary port or any Bluetooth network to connect music from my phone to the car. I searched the car dashboard and yep there’s nothing. My car does have a CD player and radio. What can I buy that will send my phone’s music to the car speakers? The car is pretty old with a hig...

Your Experience of Visiting Escape Rooms?

yeah I've been to an escape room in Sydney - Escape Hunt . I participated in the level 1 escape room with 3 other friends. Working together and solving the greater puzzle was incredibly rewarding and is something to look back on in years to come. it's only an hour (most are) so there's nothing to be...

It's a can opener, not a can't opener. It's all in the mindset. Go fix yourself. ;)

Most Attractive Deserts Must Visit Once in Life

If you love deserts you'd love Alice Springs, Australia. Alice Springs Desert Park is worth the visit. A little advice you need different sets of clothes during Winter coz it's 26 - 27 degrees. Then it drops to 6 degrees at night. https://alicespringsdesertpark.com.au/plan-your-visit https://www.aus...
